Highway 20 east of Skiatook was closed due to water across the road, but one lane in each direction was reopened late Thursday morning, May 4. Authorities tell News On 6 the water is receding.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation closed the highway Wednesday after Bird Creek flooded area farm land and the highway.

High water also closed a Tulsa County road, 126th Street North about two miles south of Highway 20.

Last month, both the highway and 126th Street North were closed for several days when Bird Creek flooded.
