Semi-Truck Fire Closes Lanes On I-44 Near Highway 75

A semi-truck fire is closing lanes on a Tulsa interstate.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, westbound I-44 is narrowed to one lane near Highway 75 due to a semi with rear duals on fire. At one point both lanes were closed.

The Tulsa Fire Department is on the scene.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is helping divert westbound traffic onto U.S. 75.

No time frame was given for how long one one lane will be open.
