Two Men Plead Guilty In Death Of Tulsa Woman

Two Tulsa men pleaded guilty this week in the death of a woman over the summer.

Nicholas Davenport and Jacob Hignite were charged with the death of Amanda Hart which happened on June 24, 2016.

Police say Hignite and Davenport were in a parking lot near Admiral and Mingo to discuss selling a stolen car. Police say Hignite pulled a gun and demanded cash. Davenport told police he stepped on the gas, ran over Amanda Hart and shot Davenport in the leg.

Hart died at the hospital.

Court records show both pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second-degree manslaughter and a judge sentenced them to four years in prison.
