Residents and businesses impacted by the November 6th earthquake in Cushing will not be getting any financial aid.

The Stillwater News Press reports Payne County Emergency Manager Jeff Kuhn as saying a city damage assessment from the 5.0 magnitude earthquake didn’t meet the threshold required to get community assistance from the federal government or the state of Oklahoma.

Kuhn say they're looking into other ways to get help for those affected by the earthquake.

Kuhn did tell the newspaper, residents of the Cimarron Tower apartment complex in downtown Cushing who were evacuated the night of the earthquake should be able to go home soon.
