Tulsa Police are asking the public to help them find the suspect in a fatal shooting Wednesday afternoon in Tulsa. One man was killed and another wounded at the Savanna Landing apartments.

Sergeant Dave Walker said a 41-year-old man died of multiple gunshot wounds after an argument that began Tuesday night and escalated into violence around 4:20 p.m. October 19, 2016.

That's where Walker said one person confronted another with a gun, fired several rounds and while the intended target got away - two others with them were shot.

One person was killed and another went to the hospital. The wounded man is expected to survive and was able to talk to police at the hospital. Walker described both victims as acquaintances of the targeted person.

"We are working on identifying the suspect and believe he was with other people that have not been located," Walker said in a news release Thursday morning. "We do not know how the suspect fled the scene."

He asked anyone with information about the came to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or the Homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477.

Police have not released the victim's name in Tulsa's 64th homicide of 2016.
