A gun goes off in a Tulsa hotel, leaving a 16-year-old girl injured - but not by the bullet.  It happened at the Candlewood Suites near 71st and Highway 169.

Police say a man was cleaning his gun late Tuesday night when it went off. The bullet went down into the room below, knocking off a chunk of sheetrock.
TPD says that sheetrock hit the 16-year-old girl in the leg.

She had a minor injury, but EMSA did not need to transport her.

Officers are calling it an accident and are not charging the man who was cleaning the gun. Police said he has offered to pay the girl's medical bills.
