Ochelata Child Hit, Injured After Running Into Street

A six-year-old Ochelata girl is in a Tulsa hospital after the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports she ran in front of a vehicle in the Washington County community Thursday evening.

Troopers said the accident happened just before 5:30 p.m. 

The OHP report states the girl darted into the street and was hit by a 2012 Chevrolet driven by Caitlyn Fielding, 27, of Ochelata.

Troopers said the child was stable when she taken to a Tulsa hospital with head and leg injuries.
