Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer Talks OU Defense

The Sooners faced the balanced attack that led Houston to an upset. The Cougars head coach is Tom Herman, who used to be Ohio State's offensive coordinator.

Now, the Sooners go up against Herman's former offense and one of his mentors Urban Meyer.

The Buckeyes balance between the run and pass is dangerous, especially since quarterback J.T. Barrett is off to a great start.

"We have to be balanced,” said Meyer. “You have no chance in this game if you think you're going to go just pound the ball. Their defense is systematized not to allow inside run. Their base defense they want to install is negate the run, and so we're going to have to be very balanced."
