Injury Two Vehicle Crash Impacts Traffic On I-40 Near Henryetta

A closed eastbound lane of Interstate-40 near Henryetta was reopened early Saturday after a two vehicle crash Friday evening.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash between an SUV and semi happened near the Highway 75 interchange and shut down both east and westbound traffic.

OHP is still investigating but believes the SUV ran into the back of the semi. Troopers did request two medical helicopters to take the injured to a nearby hospital.

The westbound lanes of I-40 were reopened at about 8 p.m.

Crews also worked an injury crash in Rogers County that closed westbound Highway 412 near NS4160 Road for about an hour.

Few details about the crash have been released, but a Life-Flight helicopter was requested.
