A sudden storm pelted part of Broken Arrow with high winds and a lot of rain Monday afternoon.
It happened just before 2 p.m. near 81st and Highway 51.
News On 6 meteorologist Mike Grogan said it was a very localized high wind event. He said the meteorological term for it is a wet microburst.
His brother, Clay Grogan, shot video of the wind and rain. The storm packed gusts of up to 50 miles per hour, possibly as high as 60 miles per hour.
So far the only damage that's been reported was a gate blown down at the Blue Bell ice cream plant.
