The intersection of 56 Street North and Lewis is back up after a two-vehicle collision. The crash took out a traffic light at the intersection.

Both drivers told police they believed they had the green light. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

A woman and child in an SUV and a man in a car crashed into each other and then snapped a support pole supporting the traffic light. Firefighters and traffic investigators responded to the wreck.

Crews were still working to replace the light, but the intersection reopened after about an hour and a half.

Police cited the car's driver for not having a valid driver's license.
