Dead Tree Limbs Blamed For Tulsa Power Outage

PSO originally blamed balloons for a power outage in south Tulsa; however, they later learned the problem was caused by a dead tree with limbs on the lines.

The tree in question is located on 86th Street near Memorial, News On 6 was told. The limbs caused a feeder line to shut off, turning off power to about 2,500 customers at about 10:30 a.m.

PSO said it restored power at about 12:30 p.m.
