An Okmulgee High School graduate surprised his classmates and achieved a personal goal by walking across the stage to collect his diploma over the weekend.

It's a time of accomplishment for any high school senior, but for Micah McDale, it was much more. Born with cerebral palsy, McDade has had numerous surgeries to overcome and hours of physical therapy, the Okmulgee News reports.

He never gave up on his desire to walk.

On May 20, 2016, with his classmates and teachers cheering, that dream came true. Micah made his first walk publicly across the graduation stage.

Now his walk has become a viral video seen worldwide.  Watch the Okmulgee News video above or follow this link to their story for more.
