Former NASA astronaut Paul Lockhart is speaking to kids this week as part of Flight Night Space Week.
Monday, he spoke at Jenks - inspiring kids to reach for their dreams.
“The world is really unlimited in terms of opportunities. There is a place for you, and you have to have the courage to step up and try it. Never be concerned about failing because it's only by not trying that you end up, in essence, failing,” he said.
Lockhart will visit Tulsa's Academy Central Elementary school Tuesday.
He's also scheduled to speak with Union, Owasso and Monte Casino students this week.
