The most experienced morning news team in Tulsa is growing!
Starting Monday, April 25th, News On 6 Anchor Meagan Farley will begin co-anchoring the 4:30 a.m. newscast with Rich Lenz before LeAnne Taylor takes over at 5 a.m.
“I’m so excited to be sharing the news desk with such an experienced news anchor who loves and works for Tulsa,” said 6 in the Morning Anchor Rich Lenz. “She loves Tulsa and wants to settle down here for the rest of her career. She is constantly working on news stories Tulsans need to know.”
Meagan Farley became known to Tulsa viewers as the weekend evening news anchor. Her new role will have her serve as co-anchor of the 4:30 a.m. newscast and 6 in the Morning reporter from 5 a.m. - 9 a.m. Monday through Friday.
“The schedule is certainly going to take some adjustments,” said Farley. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to my alarm clock going off at 2:30 in the morning! I think what’s going to make it easier is knowing I’m getting to work with the best morning team in Tulsa, and telling stories to Tulsans that I truly care about and know will have an impact on their day-to-day lives.”
Farley will be joining Rich Lenz, LeAnne Taylor, and Alan Crone, bringing a new level of experience and integrity to your morning routine.
