Tulsa Firefighters Rescue Puppies From Storm Drain

Several puppies are safe, thanks to a Good Samaritan and Tulsa firefighters.

A woman says she was driving along U.S. Highway 75 when she saw three puppies running along the side of the road. She stopped to pick them up, but they ran into a storm drain.

Firefighters were able to lend a hand by crawling through the drain to get the pups.

"Restores your faith in humanity a little when people will stick around for some puppies to save them make sure they won't get killed... it's nice," Vanessa Oxford said.

After a couple of hours of work, all three puppies were rescued. The woman says she will find good homes for them. If you can help, contact her on Facebook.
