Southwest Okmulgee County Fire Still Burning

A large fire in Okmulgee County near Dripping Springs Lake continues to burn, but firefighters said early Friday it is now 60-percent contained.

Firefighters are still on scene putting out hot spots. They say no homes are threatened.

On Thursday, the Oklahoma Army National Guard sent choppers to help fight this fire. Osage SkyNews 6 HD pilot Will Kavanagh saw several helicopters dumping water on the flames which damaged several mobile homes and buildings.
