Construction work on Tulsa's Edison Preparatory High School's new Collegiate Center is almost done.
The $4.5 million bond-funded project adds lecture halls, computer labs as well as two safe rooms for the school on on East 41st Street.
Tulsa Public Schools broke ground on the new 18,000-square foot center in November 2014. It is expected to open on April 1.
The center was designed by architects that work on colleges so the building would help give high school kids to get a sense of what college looks like.
