GRDA Says Worker Apparently Fell To His Death At Power Plant

The Grand River Dam Authority confirms a man apparently fell 30 feet to his death at a power plant on Sunday.

The contract employee was working at the Grand River Energy Center when the accident took place, according to GRDA spokesperson Justin Alberty,

The facility is on U.S. Highway 412 east of Chouteau.

Late Sunday, GRDA still was trying to piece together what happened, Alberty said.

The investigation is continuing Monday, and GRDA is expected to release additional information.
