What's the equation to turn our love for the Star Wars movie franchise into one of the best Christmas gifts a kid could hope for?

You need a dad, and his dad, plus time and imagination.

"Knox, do you want to take Mr. Wells for a ride? I'll get it ready.”

Look what Knox Davis got for Christmas.

It is what they call the full-Falcon experience. It's the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. You know, Han Solo's ship from Star Wars.

"We'd been planning on building a playhouse for a while," Dustin Davis said.

“We” is Knox's dad Dustin and his dad Ron. Knox loves flying and spaceships so....

"Why not combine the two ideas and make a space ship playhouse?" Dustin said.

And so they did.

They started back in mid-November.  PVC  and strips of aluminum. Plexiglass and lots of LED lights. Inside, they found some flight simulator parts on eBay, some aircraft instrument gauges and pretty soon they had themselves a Millennium Falcon.

“A little imagination and a little hard work you can build about anything,” Dustin said.

But wait, there's more. On top of the Falcon there's a projector, so they can sit in their Millennium Falcon and watch the other Millennium Falcon and Star Wars movies projected on the wall.

Dustin and his dad spent a month together building it. Now they can watch Knox have the time of his life.

What a gift -- for everyone.

“Doing something a little bit crazy, and a whole lot of fun,” Dustin said.

Even for old guys.

“You must be Chewy. Make the calculations, Chewy."
