Flu season is off to a slow this year, according to data.

In Oklahoma, only 22 people have been hospitalized with the virus this year. One of those is in Tulsa County, and elsewhere in Green Country, Pittsburg County has had one hospitalization, records show.

The state health department says there have been no deaths.

Last year's record flu season 2,000 people to the hospital and killed 100.

But be prepared, flu numbers also spiked sharply in early December 2014.
