Oklahoma Own's Carrie Underwood will perform at the BOK Center in Tulsa Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 6 for one of the state's favorite daughters.
Underwood, who just released her fifth album, Storyteller, is starting a new arena tour called "The Storyteller Tour - Stories in the Round." The 360-degree stage will be set in the middle of the arena floor, and the tour will include performances by Easton Corbin and the Swon Brothers.
“I can’t wait to play new music from Storyteller for the fans,” said Underwood. “I am so blessed to have this career and get to do to the things I do, but there is nothing like that moment when I get to step onto the stage to sing and all the fans are singing along with me.”
The Checotah native will donate $1 from each ticket to the C.A.T.S. Foundation (Checotah Animal, Town and School) to help with education and literacy programs.
Underwood is a seven-time Grammy winner and the first woman to be twice named the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year.
