Armed Robbery Reported At Tulsa Dollar General

Tulsa Police say a man wearing a painter's mask to cover his face robbed the Dollar General in the 1100 block of North Sheridan Sunday morning.

Tulsa Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Dollar General in the 1100 block of North Sheridan. A man with a gun robbed the store around 8:25 a.m.

The robber was wearing all black clothing and had a painter's mask covering his mouth and nose, a TPD corporal told News On 6. He showed the clerk a semi-automatic handgun and demanded all the money in the register.

Police said the clerk gave the robber the money, and he took off northbound on Sheridan. The woman working at the store was upset but not injured, according to authorities.
