Oklahoma Community Newspaper Group Bought By BH Media

An Oklahoma publishing group has been purchased by BH Media. Community Publishers announced that its community newspapers - including the Broken Arrow Ledger, Sand Springs Leader and Owasso Reporter - have been purchased.

Berkshire Hathaway is owned by Warren Buffet. BH Media operates 71 newspapers and other titles, including the Tulsa World.

Community Publishers, or CPI, purchased the newspaper group in December, 2005, from Retherford Publications.
