Trash Can Fire At Tulsa Zoo Friends Office

A small fire was quickly extinguished at the Tulsa Zoo early Friday. 

Tulsa firefighters said the fire was in the Tulsa Zoo Friends office at Mohawk Park. They said a security guard noticed a haze in the office and called the fire department before 4 a.m. 

Firefighters arrived and found the fire in a trash can. They said the fire caused only minor damage. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
