Bullet Into House Wakes North Tulsa Resident

Bullets hit a north Tulsa home around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of North Winston. Tulsa police say it may have all started following a carjacking.

Bullets hit a north Tulsa home around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of North Winston. Tulsa police say it may have all started following a carjacking.

The resident woke up after hitting something hitting their house. A bullet hole was found in a bedroom, according to Tulsa Police. The bullet struck a wall and bounced off.

About the same time, other officers found an "extremely intoxicated" man hiding in a ditch along North Yale, records show. He told police he was carjacked and running through the yard on Winston as two men who fired shots at him.

No one was hurt inside the home. The man was taken to the hospital for dehydration, police say.
