The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Highway 83 west of Monroe in LeFlore County was closed early Friday because of a wreck.
Troopers say a semi loaded with wood chips overturned onto the side of the highway at about 5 a.m. The semi was the only vehicle involved.
The OHP says the driver was able to climb out of the truck's cab and was not injured. Because of leaking fuel at the scene, troopers blocked both east and westbound traffic at the crash until it could be cleaned up.
The crash happened southeast of Poteau. OHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
