Tulsa's NORDAM and airplane maker Airbus celebrated a milestone Thursday.
NORDAM says it has produced the 100,000th passenger cabin window for Airbus' line of A320 passenger jets.
Nordam says the milestone shows the high level of trust and commitment to quality between the two businesses and it is a partnership both companies hope to build on.
"We're very pleased with the delivery and quality performance, and there's some interesting technology we've seen here today, so we're hoping that there might be opportunities," said David Williams, Airbus Americas.
"As long as they continue selling airplanes and growing, we're going to try to grow along with them," said Meredith Siegfried, NORDAM CEO:
NORDAM was awarded the cabin window program in 2011, but the two companies have been working together for nearly two decades.
NORDAM Tulsa is also the North American repair station for Airbus.
1,800 people work for NORDAM in Tulsa.
