The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight across all of eastern Oklahoma.
The NWS says freezing rain changed over to sleet early Wednesday and will transition into snow as a cold front pushes across Oklahoma.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches of sleet and snow. He said there could be some areas that get higher amounts.
