ONG Stops Gas Leak On University Of Tulsa Campus

Part of the University of Tulsa campus was closed Tuesday morning because of a natural gas leak. 

A TU spokesperson says the leak was in an area between McFarlin library and the Student Union building. TU campus security evacuated three sorority houses, closed the south entrance to the Student Union and blocked off the parking lot at 5th Place and McFarlin as a precaution. 

Oklahoma Natural Gas was called and workers shut down the leak.

No word what caused the leak, but TU officials say there is construction going on near Hardesty Hall and the Student Union.
