Evidence is still being processed as deputies investigate the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy and gunshot wounds to the child's mother and 8-year-old brother, according to the sheriff in Grant County, Wisconsin.

Authorities say all three were shot in the head at a home in Montfort last Friday with a pistol that was recovered at the scene.

Sheriff Nate Dreckman said Tuesday his deputies are not looking for a suspect, but he declined to say who might be responsible for the shootings. Dreckman says 27-year-old Morgan Slaight and her son, Joseph, remain at University Hospital where a spokeswoman declined to give any information about the two.

Dreckman says Slaight and two of her children had been living with her sister in Montfort. The sheriff says she is estranged from her husband, who is living in Oklahoma.

Morgan Slaight and her two sons lived in Tulsa until late last year.
