Concrete Truck Overturns In Creek County

Emergency service personnel responded to a slow-speed crash in Creek County involving a concrete truck. It happened Monday morning at 83rd Street South and 49th West Avenue.

Sapulpa Fire Department and Creek County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash. They say the truck was going slowly up a hill when the concrete load shifted and flipped the truck over on its side.

The driver was out of the truck when firefighters arrived. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out for minor injuries and is expected to be OK.

Crews were closing the road to get a tow truck to the scene, so drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
