We think you'd like to get to know the members of the News On 6 team a little better. That's why we've started this feature on NewsOn6.com as a way to share more information about the people who bring you the news every day. Next up is Craig Day. Craig co-anchors News On 6 at 5 p.m. with Lori Fullbright and beginning Monday, December 1, 2014, he will also co-anchor News On 6 at 9 p.m. on Tulsa CW with Chera Kimiko.

1. What was your first job in television news?

I worked as a photojournalist for KXII. The station is based in Sherman, Texas, but I worked in the Ada, Oklahoma bureau while still in college at East Central University. After graduation, I worked for the station out of Ardmore and Sherman, working my way into reporting and then anchoring.

2. You have 15 minutes of free time, what do you do?

What do you mean by 15 minutes of free time? I'm confused by the question.

3. What's in the console of your car?

At the moment: CDs by Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Ace Frehley(from KISS) and Wade Bowen. Postage stamps: yes, I'm one of the few people who still mail their bills.

Some loose change.

Nothing very interesting, I just cleaned out my truck not long ago!

4. What's your hidden talent?

I do impersonations of country singer Randy Travis, former President Bill Clinton, radio host Casey Kasem, and R&B soul singer Aaron Neville. I just realized that's the most bizarre collection grouped together I could imagine.

5. What was your high school mascot?

The Chieftains from Seminole, Oklahoma!

6. How would you describe Tulsa to someone who's never been here?

Tulsa's a great city to raise a family! It's a beautiful city and part of the country. Great barbecue and plenty of things to do. But, people are what make the city great. Folks here in our area and across Oklahoma are honest, hard-working, and humble. They're quick with a smile, friendly, hospitable and always seem willing to step up to help others in need. That's why I love Oklahoma!
