Woman Struck By SUV While Walking On Tulsa Street

EMSA took a woman to a Tulsa hospital after she was struck while walking on Sheridan Road just north of Highway 11 Wednesday night. 

Tulsa Police say the incident occurred at about 10:45 p.m. 

Officers said the woman was headed north on the east side of the road when the passenger-side mirror of a northbound Chevy Tahoe hit her on the head.

The driver told police she stopped and went back to help. People working at BizJet nearby also assisted and called 911. 

Police said that area of north Sheridan is not well lit and the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing.
