Tulsa Police arrested a man after a homeowner saw him trying to steal a flat screen TV from the home's patio wall early Tuesday.

Officers got the call to the home at 30th and Peoria just before 2 a.m. By the time police arrived, the man had run away.

As they searched with the help of the Tulsa Police helicopter, a motion light turned on at another home and officers found Michael McDonald, 27. They also found McDonald's car parked in a driveway.

They towed the car and booked McDonald into the Tulsa County jail complaints of 1st degree attempted burglary, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. Jail records show he is being held in lieu of $22,000 bond with a court appearance set for October 14, 2014.
