Police arrested a Tulsa man they say was sitting in a running vehicle, honking his horn and hanging out the window, yelling. Nicholas Arden Johncox was taken into custody just after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Officers say Johncox, 23, was "slurring his speech and drooling in between attempts at talking," when they found him in his car in the 3700 block of South Jamestown.

He reportedly fought off police, kicking and head butting them. Johncox's eyes were dilated, and he smelled strongly of alcohol, according to an arrest report.

He bit one officer as police carried him to a patrol car, the report states. Johncox is in Tulsa County Jail Sunday morning on complaints of assault and battery on a police officer, actual physical control (second offense) and resisting arrest.
