Broken Arrow Neighbors announced a big fundraising milestone in a unique way.
They were $25,000 short of meeting a challenge grant before their annual "Wine, Eats, and Easels" fundraiser, but donors came through big and a wine glass measuring their progress overflowed.
They raised $60,000 and met their overall goal of $1.1 million dollars.
Executive Director of B.A. Neighbors, Kim Goddard, said, "I was absolutely blown away when the water made into wine spilled over the top. I had absolutely no idea what proceeds were going to be this year."
Broken Arrow Neighbors helps people in the community with a food pantry, medical clinic, and more.
Last year, they said they helped more than 12,000 people.
