When the City of Tulsa started talking about where to trim its budget this spring, a popular arts program almost ended.
But the city council saved Henthorne Park - and the Clark Theater that's housed there - and even gave it a little extra money so it could keep the curtain up longer than usual.
They've got quite a season lined up, planning to perform "Oklahoma!," "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," "Taming of the Shrew"and the "Jungle Book."
They also have an improv group.
