An Oklahoma's Supreme Court ruling means there will be an August run-off for the Tulsa County District Attorney job.
Steve Kunzweiler filed a lawsuit saying his opponent, state representative Fred Jordan, wasn't eligible because state lawmakers approved a raise for prosecutors while Jordan was in office.
Friday, the court ruled Jordan was eligible because the district attorney position wouldn't begin until after Jordan left the state house.

"We proved today that we were right, we proved today that I am following the constitution, and we proved today that he was wrong and that that politically motivated tactic is not going to work," Jordan said.
Kunzweiler, said, "Obviously I disagree with the Supreme Court's decision, but that's certainly not going to change the issue for the voters in this race and that's all going to be about who do you want in office."
Jordan abstained from the vote on the raise.
The two candidates will face off in a Republican primary run-off on August 26th.
No Democrats are running for the job, so whoever wins the run-off will become Tulsa County's next district attorney.
