OHP: Alcohol Involved In Delaware County Golf Cart Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a Delaware County man is in a Grove hospital after his golf cart crashed into a mailbox on a county road late Thursday.

Troopers said the crash happened just after 11 p.m. on a road about two miles east of Cleora.

The OHP says Rusty Ambrose, 27, of Cleora was westbound when the 1992 Ez-Go golf cart veered off the road and struck a mailbox. The OHP report stated Ambrose was Driving While Intoxicated.

Troopers said Ambrose suffered a leg injury in the crash.
