Police are looking for a person who was involved in a crash with a teenaged driver Wednesday night and left the scene of the wreck.

Officers said the crash occurred at 11 p.m. on 31st Street at 101st East Avenue.

A 16-year-old girl who was driving a Toyota Camry told officers she was eastbound on 31st street when a pickup that was also headed eastbound suddenly turned left in front of her.

Police said she slowed down but still hit the rear of the truck. They say it's an older model Chevrolet pickup. The impact caused a plastic tub loaded with tools and equipment to fly out of the bed.

The driver of the Camry was shaken up but not injured. Her mother told officers the teen had just gotten her license.

Witnesses described the four-door pickup as black or gray in color.
