Tulsa Man, 57, Arrested For Lewd Molestation Of 6-Year-Old

A 57-year-old Tulsa man is in jail for after reportedly admitting he molested a 6-year-old boy.

According to an arrest report, the boy said Clifton "Cliffy" Bales on Monday touched him inappropriately after pulling his pants down three different times.

The child was under the care of a babysitter who lives in the same home as Bales, the report said.

Police said Bales confessed to the babysitter and was taken to a psychiatric clinic in Tulsa. He also reportedly confessed to clinic staff and police were called.

The report says that once in custody, Bales admitted to oral sodomy and lewd molestation on the child as well as multiple other children.

Bales was arrested on Tuesday and is being held at the Tulsa County jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.

A search warrant on the residence turned up a child's training bra with the straps cut off and a child's T-shirt cut into pieces in Bales' bedroom, documents say.
