Tulsa Man Dies After Being Pulled From Swimming Pool

A Tulsa man died after he was pulled from his swimming pool Saturday afternoon. Stephen Lee Richardville, 54, died later that day.

Richardville was taken to St. John Hospital after he was found at the bottom of a residential swimming pool. The man who tried to save Richardville's life said it appeared he had hit the back of his head at some point.

Josh Sala told News On 6 Saturday that he learned CPR at work and tried to help Richardville but was afraid the man might not survive.

Richardville was retired from a firefighting career in California, according to a family friend.
