Michele Bachmann To Deliver ORU's 2014 Commencement Address

Oral Roberts University announced Wednesday that Minnesota Congresswoman and Oral Roberts University alumna Michele Bachmann will be the school's 2014 commencement speaker.

In 2006, Bachmann became the first Republican woman elected to represent Minnesota in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Bachmann is a graduate of Winona State University. After receiving her J.D. at the O.W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University and an L.L.M. in Tax Law at the College of William and Mary, she and her husband, Marcus, moved their young family to Stillwater, Minnesota.

The commencement ceremony is set for Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the ORU Mabee Center.
