Police Arrest Sand Springs Man Following Owasso Shooting

The Owasso Police Department said officers were sent to a home in the 200 block of West 17th Street on a report of a disturbance at about 9:45 p.m.

Tulsa Police arrested a suspect in the shooting of an Owasso man Tuesday night.

The Owasso Police Department said officers were sent to a home in the 200 block of West 17th Street on a report of a disturbance at about 9:45 p.m.

They found a 25-year-old man lying in the driveway with a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Witnesses told police the shooter was Ryan Brashier, 23, of Sand Springs and gave them a description of the car he was driving.

About an hour later, Tulsa Police located Ryan Brashier in east Tulsa with his brother. Police said Ryan Brashier surrendered to officers outside a QuikTrip store.

Officers said they found the handgun believed to have been used in the shooting in the car.

The booked Ryan Brashier into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill.

Owasso Police have not released the victim's name or his condition.
