A 66-year-old Tahlequah man is dead after a house fire Saturday evening. The state Fire Marshal's office is investigating the fatal fire that took place on West 782 Road at about 8:30 p.m.
The Tahlequah Daily Press reports that Billy Robinson perished in a fire that started in the kitchen area of the home.
Family members confirmed that to News On 6.
Much of the house was engulfed in flames when Tahlequah fire crews arrived on scene.
The cause of the fire and how Robinson died is still under investigation.
