American Airlines says it's moving 130 accounting positions out of Tulsa to either Phoenix or Dallas.
The company says most of the positions will be moved to Phoenix.
The company told the affected employees about the move in meetings on Tuesday afternoon and said the transfers will be complete by June of 2015. Spokeswoman Andrea Huguely said the employees who accept the transfer will get help with moving expenses.
All of the people affected work in the Triad Building at 61st and Memorial.
Huguely said American remains committed to the 5700 jobs, most of them mechanics, here in Tulsa.

Mike Neal, president and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber released the following statement on the move:
"While the Tulsa Regional Chamber never wants to see jobs relocated out of northeast Oklahoma, we are confident that many great Tulsa-region employers are seeking financial services and accounting professionals and that a number of career options are available to American Airlines employees who do not choose to relocate."
