The owners of a Sand Springs dog breeding operation surrendered more than 100 puppies Wednesday after deputies found the animals living in what they called deplorable conditions.
The puppies were taken to the Humane Society of Tulsa where they got baths and checkups.

The Humane Society of Tulsa has been busy since then looking for permanent homes for the dogs.
As News On 6 photojournalist Michael Woods showed us in the video above, the first of the puppies just went up for adoption.

Many of the dogs will be at the Tulsa Home and Garden show this weekend at River Spirit Expo at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.
