Officials have confirmed to News On 6 that a longtime Muskogee police officer has been arrested on a slew of felony complaints which include kidnapping and sexual assault.
Mark Ridley, 39, was arrested early Thursday morning by Muskogee County deputies.
Ridley is to be arraigned at 3 p.m. for kidnapping, sexual assault, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The MPD veteran already was on administrative leave due to a separate December incident involving the same victim, according to Cpl. Michael Mahan. That case was handed over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and is now in the hands of the Delaware County district attorney.
The alleged victim in the cases filed for a protective order in December, which was eventually dismissed. On Wednesday, she filed to obtain another protective order against Ridley.
