Body Found In Talihina Pond Identified

The LeFlore County Sheriff's Office confirmed on Wednesday with the Medical Examiner's office the identity of a body found Monday afternoon in a pond outside of Talihina.

Officials said the body was identified as Joshua Teves, 19, of Talihina.

Reports said Teves had been reported missing by family members several days before his body was found.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the Sheriff's Office is investigating the case as a possible homicide.
